Artur Śliwiński, MD – despite his long experience, he never rests on his laurels and is always trying to expand his knowledge and master new skills in scope of plastic surgery. His next challenge as a member of the Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery was to speak at the Symposium organised by ISAPS (the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) on 10 -12.10.2019 in Poznań, at which he presented innovative face-lifting technologies. In his next speech, he went into the details of platelet-rich plasma and the ways it can be used in plastic surgery.
The fourth “BREAST CANCER – ONCOLOGY AND PLASTY” conference was held in Poznań on 20-21 September of 2019. During the conference, the physicians in attendance discussed problems associated with treatment of breast cancer and post-surgery breast reconstruction. The participants shared their experiences on how theory carries over to everyday clinical practices. Our specialists - Dr Artur Śliwiński MD and Piotr Krajewski MD were very active and took the floor to discuss breast reconstruction – a matter dear to their hearts.
We would like to thank the organisers for their invitation and the opportunity to share our experiences – the atmosphere was great as always, the company was tremendous, and the lectures were interesting and professional.
The successive conferences, symposia, and training courses are an opportunity to share experiences and look for answers to still-pending question: what kind of surgery will satisfy the patient? This year’s 7th International Breast Symposium was even more popular among globally renowned experts in the fields of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. The symposium included establishment of the IBSA (International Breast Surgery Alliance) – which is aimed to facilitate sharing of experiences and organisation of training courses. We just could not miss it! We would like to thank the organisers for a successful and productive symposium.
