Dr Artur Śliwiński spent 5 days (from 31 October to 4 November of this year) in attendance at the 24th ISAPS Congress in Miami, Florida.
The congress covered an unprecedented range of topics – breast surgery, facial surgery, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty, body modelling, liposuction, surgical ginecomasty treatment, and labiaplasty.
The 2018 MIAMI CONGRESS will be remembered for its strong dose of knowledge and numerous new and inspiring solutions.
October abounded for our doctors in many journeys and international conferences. At the beginning of the month, 12th International Congress of the European Foot and Ankle Society with a leading motto of "Current state of knowledge: Foot and Ankle Surgery" took place in Geneva.
Then, at the second half of October, the first Orthopedic Symposium in the whole history of the Polish Foot and Ankle Society was held: "Foot and Ankle Current Concepts - Strategies in the ankle and foot treatment".
The program of Symposium included a detailed selection of the diagnostic and treatment procedures in particular cases. In addition, it referred to therapeutic processes of congenital malformations, cartilage injuries and post-traumatic treatment of foot and ankle injuries.
The main event gathered experts from all over the world, including Mr Piotr Wieczorek MD, a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology of the AMC Art Medical Center, who represented us proudly.

The First European BioBridge Generation Regeneration Conference was held on 20-21 of last September in beautiful Venice and attracted numerous special guests who shared their experiences concerning platelet-rich plasma. The conference included presentations of the most recent research results and innovative ways to apply plasma in areas like aesthetic medicine and orthopaedics.

On 17-18 May of 2018, Dr Artur Śliwiński had the honour of attending the 5th Breast Care Surgical Excellence Symposium in Hamburg. The symposium focused on "Current Controversies and Latest Techniques in Breast Surgery". In scope of the theme, the renowned international experts in attendance discussed the profile and expectations of today’s discerning patient and debated the challenges and opportunities surgeons face in the modern era of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. The slogans of the symposium included: latest medical evidence, marketing, improving techniques to increase patient satisfaction, and optimisation of long-term aesthetic results.
