The "International Video Course in Breast Reconstruction" was held on 23.02.2018 in Rome. The course was conducted by Professor Stefano Pompei and organised by Polytech. The 6 physicians invited from Poland included Artur Śliwiński, MD, PhD.
We are glad to disclose that Dr. med. Piotr Kolczewski, a gynaecologist working in our center, gave lectures and instructed training events during the first World Congress for Plastic and Reconstructive Gynaecology which took place in New Delhi (India) from the 6th until the 8th of October 2017 in New Delhi. 350 participants from 5 continents and 28 countries attended the congress.
The month of October has for many years been recognised worldwide as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this is especially important to us. On this occasion we recommend that you read a few sentences on this topic in the October issue of the magazine “PANI”, where Dr. Artur Śliwiński addresses, among others, the problem of breast cancer. We hope that the media coverage on this topic will motivate you, dear ladies, to systematically take care of yourselves, to have preventive mammography or ultrasound examinations of the breast and to regularly perform self-checkups.
