The aim of the procedure is to gain the required nose shape through correction of the tip of the nose, cartilage or bone, or additionally through correction within the nasal septum, especially when breathing difficulties are observed. Technique of the surgery is based on incisions performed within the nose or additionally on the columella, reduction and correction of cartilages, repeated arrangement of the nasal skeleton, depending on the result the operator is to obtain. The procedure is conducted in an operating room, under general anaesthesia, with participation of anaesthesiological and surgical staff. The procedure lasts about 1-1.5 hours. The patient is required to stay in the clinic for 1-2 days.
