Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at the 109^th Military Hospital in Szczecin in the years 2010-2012. He currently holds a position as a plastic and reconstructive surgery consultant in Western Pomeranian Oncology Centre in Szczecin.

M. D. Ph D Artur Śliwiński is a highly qualified specialist, with 20 years of professional practice in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, aesthetic medicine, as well as general surgery. Considerable experience and expert knowledge, professionalism, implementation of modern surgical techniques guarantee the desired result and long-lasting improvement of customers’ appearance. Doctor Śliwiński ensures safety and medical care for his patients throughout every phase of the treatment process – consultation, surgical procedure and convalescence. He constantly perfects his skills through participation in symposiums and training held in Poland and abroad, and what is more, he repeatedly presented his lectures during such events.

During the years 1991-2001 he worked as a senior assistant at General Surgery Department, and then, since 2002, he continued his work at Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at the 109^th Military Hospital in Szczecin. In the years 2010-2012 he was the head of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department. Between 1992 and July 2012 he also worked in Private Plastic Surgery Centre. Since August 2012 he is running his individual medical practice. As far as Western Pomeranian Oncology Centre in Szczecin is concerned, he mainly performs breast reconstruction surgeries there.

He is a member of the Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, as well as Section of Aesthetic Surgery at the European Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (EACS), the International Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the European Aesthetics Academy, the European School of Oncology and the Polish Wound Management Association.

• 1989 – graduated from Military Medical Academy in Łódź, Faculty of Medicine
• 1995 – passed the national exam (grade A) and obtained the title of first degree specialist in general surgery
• 2003 – passed the national exam (grade A with honours) and obtained the title of second degree specialist in general surgery
• 2007 – he commenced a conferment procedure for a doctoral degree at Pomeranian Medical Academy in Szczecin, under the guidance of Prof. Piotr Prowans, entitled: “Evaluation concerning suitability of new block copolymer composed of polystyrene and polyisobutylene in soft tissue reconstructing procedures” within the scope of the following research programme: “Elaborating a non-silicone breast prosthesis”.
• 2010 – passed a national exam (grade A) in Military Medical Institute in Warsaw, under the guidance of Wojciech Witkowski, MD, PhD, and obtained the title of specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• 2011 – obtained an academic degree – doctor of philosophy

He is an author and co-author of multiple publications concerning general and plastic surgery, as well as aesthetic medicine. He participated in the following symposia and congresses devoted to plastic and reconstructive surgery, both in Poland and abroad:
