Ear correcting surgery aims to improve how ears look by setting the auricle, reshaping immature segments of the cartilage and bringing the ear closer to the head. The procedure reduces the angle between auricle and the skull, as well as recreates its proper anatomic structure. From the incision performed behind the ear flap, the operator removes the excessive skin amount, cuts, reshapes and properly fixes the cartilage with surgical sutures. In certain cases it is essential to remove a part of the cartilage. The skin is closed with thin sutures in a manner reducing the size of the final scar. The procedure is conducted in an operating room, under general anaesthesia, with participation of anaesthesiological and surgical staff. The procedure lasts about 30-40 minutes. The patient is required to stay in the clinic for 0-1 day. Check prices list << back
