The aim of the procedure is a subtle change, which makes the patient look younger and less tired. The surgery is performed to remove a small amount of skin from the lower lid, remove an excessive amount of fat tissue and to close the orbital septum. Incision of the lower lid is hidden 2mm below the lower lid lash line. The excessive amount of fat is being removed through this incision, and the internal part of the orbital septum is closed with absorbable sutures. The incision on the skin is closed with thin sutures. The excessive skin amount left after removal of the fat tissue is excised. Deep grooves that occur between the lower lid area and the cheek can be improved by moving fat concrements or fat grafting. The procedure is performed under general (infusion) and local anaesthesia in an operating room, under general anaesthesia, with participation of anaesthesiological and surgical staff. The procedure lasts about 30-40 minutes. The patient is required to stay in the clinic for 1-2 days.
